White Sox Place Adam Engel On Injured List
Engel may have come in contact with someone who's infected with COVID-19.
(670 The Score) The White Sox have placed outfielder Adam Engel on the injured list after he may have come in contact with someone outside of the MLB world who's infected with the coronavirus, general manager Rick Hahn said Monday afternoon.
Engel himself hasn't tested positive for COVID-19 and isn't displaying any symptoms, Hahn said. MLB is currently conducting contact tracing but doesn't see any risk to other players regarding the situation, Hahn said, so the White Sox and Tigers are set to play Monday evening.
